What is Ashenda? ኣሸንዳ እንታይ እዩ?

Ashenda is a beloved Tigrayan cultural and traditional festival celebrated every August, marking the end of the Filseta fasting period. It is especially cherished as a celebration honoring girls and young women, who dress in colorful traditional attire, sing, and dance together through the streets in joyful processions. ኣሸንዳ ኣብ ነፍሲ ወከፍ ወርሒ ነሓሰ ዝብዓል፣ ውዱብ ናይ ትግራይ ባህላዊ በዓል ኮይኑ፣ ምዝዛም ጾም ፍልሰታ የመልክት። ብፍላይ ንኣዋልድን መንእሰያት ኣንስትን ዘኽብር በዓል ኮይኑ፣ ብባህላዊ ክዳን ተኸዲነን ብሓባር እናዘመራን እናደረፋን ኣብ ጎደናታት ብሓጎስ ይኽዕዳ።
